We used Switch Electric to add an RV and welding appropriate outlet in our garage. They were quick to get back to us on a quote, did the job in a timely manner, and were professional and great to work with. When the electrician was running late (because of the weather) they called to let us know which is always appreciated.

May 28, 2022Previous reviewWe needed a light/wire installed in our guest bedroom that had no ceiling light. Switch Electric was the first place to respond to our quote request and were great to work with. They were able to install the light very quickly and grateful for their follow through! Nice to find a reliable electric company!

I found these guys on yelp and needed 4 canned recess lights put in. They showed up on time and worked quickly. The lighting came out great!
The reason for 4 stars is because they did leave quite a mess. The guys working didn't use a drop cloth in the space and it was dumping snow outside, so when they walked in and out they brought the snow in with them. Then when they walk across all the fallen drywall from the cutouts it basically glued to my floors. And even though they vacuumed the area it did very little in cleaning the aftermath.
However, I did speak with Dwayne and Johanne and they did try to make things right. It is a simple fix and would save the home owners a great deal of cleanup with a drop cloth in the future.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Recently had work done by Switch Electric. Their employee, " Isaiah" is outstanding. Knows his craft very well. Was patient and thorough in answering all of our questions. Did a great job on installing sub panel with generator. I also spoke with the owners Joanna and Dwayne. Good people who strive for customer satisfaction and reasonable prices.

After a scheduled onsite visit for an estimate, was told to receive the quote in 3 business days. Estimate never came. Called on the 4th business day and said they are still working on it. A couple days later, still no quote. Call back again and left a message, received a phone call back and said quote isn't ready yet. A couple more days, sent a message on Thursday and was told quote will be ready by the weekend. No quote came, no response. I don't understand the lack of communication.

Hi Tony, I apologize for the delay in getting you the quote. We had to contact an inspector regarding the placement of the new panel given specifics I won't go into here, to ensure this would be done appropriately and up to code. We were directed to contact NV Energy and had reached out. I agree this process has taken longer than it should, and, we would never want to jump on a project without ensuring we're within appropriate guidelines for permitting, etc. Again, our sincerest apologies for the delay and any miscommunication.

Local company, which is always a bonus for me. From the first contact to site visit then proposal and finally installation of switch, everyone was prompt and pleasant. Their proposal was very fair, I checked around. The installer arrived exactly when I was told he would be here. Very professional and nice. The installation didn't take long at all. He set the timer and gave me instructions to change it as often as I want. No mess left! I can't recommend this company any more highly.

Called for an appt. waitied a couple days.. Dwayne showed up..said he could squeeze us in for a small job..than Unresposive after 5 days waiting.. no call back / no estimate..thumbs down Very Dissappointed
