Distinct Interiors

I was considering new blinds for my vacation home in Lake Tahoe. A big factor in my decision was that Distinct Interiors told me the cost of the blinds they suggested, which was about $7,000, would be partially offset with a Federal Energy Tax Credit of about $2,000. (I learned later it would only be $1,200)
When I went to the accountant to have my taxes prepared, I was informed that the credit was only for a principal residence. DI was aware that this home is not my full-time residence yet still represented that I would be eligible for the credit.
I sent an email to Distinct Interiors with my concern about this issue. I did receive a response and apology along with a promise to send me a check for $1,200. I now consider this an honest mistake and the issue resolved.
The rest of the service and the blinds are excellent.

Her professional installers, Yvonne and Graham are amazing. After updating our living room, we had to have the master bedroom done with the room darkening shades.
