Contractors charging for a bid? Hello helpful Neighbors! Has anyone experienced this? I have a friend that is having work done on on her home (large kitchen remodel) and has had 2 contractors say they would charge her to put together a bid. I’m on the fence on this one as I know it’s a ton of work for contractors to put numbers to a scope of work, but on the flip side, it was very off putting to my friend. Thoughts? Really, just curious.
