Fireplace Distributors installed our Heat & Glo natural gas fireplace & blower when we built our home in 1998. It has operated flawlessly for 25+ years. The blower motor retired itself on New Year's Eve. One call to Jason's repair crew & technician Forrest arrived to fix our problem. His knowledge & professionalism exceeded all expectations. He educated us on the inner workings & maintaining the fireplace to help extend its' working life..

Our fireplace blower was not working. We were extremely pleased with the technician, Forest. He was very pleasant and professional. He was aware of keeping things clean. Our cats took to him right away. They are good judges of character. Forest was very knowledgeable of the fireplace and blower. He explained everything about the workings of the unit. We have lived in this house for 20+ years and didn't know that we could have turned the flame up. I can't say how much we like this company, and Forest represents Fireplace Distributors of Nevada very well. As you can see from the pictures, our cats appreciate Forest and Fireplace Distributors of Nevada, too!

We had Jose out to do our pellet stove maintenance, and he did a wonderful job, he was friendly and educated. Arrived promptly, and immediately got to work. I thought this cleaning would take like 30 mins, but Jose got in there it took him almost and 1.5 hours, and I'll tell you our pellet stove didn't even look this good new! He took great pride in his work, and found a part that needed to be replaced and was able to kill to birds with one stone! I'm very pleased and would for sure use this company again!

The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and responsive, plus they have a great showroom with tons of operational fireplaces to select from. They show a variety of options for different budgets and the staff knows their products.

My clients were interested in a gas fireplace with a blower that included a remote. They'd selected a fireplace with the option to upgrade the unit to include all of the features they wanted but the salesman was able to show them a similar unit that was sold including those features as standard. His suggestion was a much better value. Knowing their products and the options offered like they do saved our customer a few hundred dollars. I'm glad to have them as a great referral for my clients!

I've had a bad experience with this company in the past. My stove needed some parts and figured I would try them again. The last couple of years ago they've done well. And the only reason for two star is because of Jose, who cleans the stove to showroom quality.

I bought a part because it failed thinking the stove would be back to normal. It wasn't, so called to get a service call. When they called to confirm appointment, I explained that this month has been rough and if they could bill me. They said yes. The day after the appointment, they called. I explained what I told their person who called me and said they could bill me and if we could do something about the part I bought two weeks before since it failed. They responded that they can give me a discount, but had to pay half that day. I explained again that their person said they can bill me, and they basically said we don't finance charity.

Anyways, I should've suspected that I would be burned by these guys again. I know this is my side of the story, but when a company tells you one thing and does another, and does not refund the part that failed again is bad business in my book.

I'll be going back to Carson City's Sierra Hearth and Home.

Met with Brian when we went to look for a new pellet stove to replace our non working old one. Brian was very knowledgeable and helpful, he came up with an estimate that we accepted. He was even able to get us an install date even sooner than we were expecting.
Jessie and Colton were the outstanding installers who removed the old stove and installed the new one. They were very professional and did an excellent job.

Our garage door snapped. I called the folks and they were able to send someone same day. I appreciate their customer service

HORRIBLE, RUDE COMPANY. I wanted a fireplace insert, called company, salesman Mike was very rude but I decided to go ahead and get a quote. Waited three weeks for someone to come out and measure. Waited another week and didn't hear anything. Called Mike, once again, very rude and said he left me a message but didn't know when??? I hung up, called back and asked for the Sales Manager...Ryan the manager was just as rude. Guess they didn't want a 7200.00 job. Wish the owner would see this.
