UTE Construction

Ute construction is the most poorly run construction firm that I have interacted with in Las Vegas. We were forced to go with them by our insurance company, because they lowballed a quote another more reputable company had provided. After taking the project, they never sent a Project Manager or made any kind of plan. After five weeks of waiting for them to start, finally the subcontractors came.

They would have their subcontractors asking US for construction advice. Questions they would know the answers to if anyone has ever come and done a proper analysis of what this home needed, which Ute's management did not bother to do.

We communicated our frustrations with them many times, at first being very polite, and then eventually becoming heated enough to have to involve our insurance company. The kept promising better management of our project, but that did not materialize. They say the project is completed, though a shower drain that was working before no longer does, and Ute claims they did nothing wrong and won't fix it. We singed off on it to be done with them.

The worst part is, this could have been a 5-Star project. The actual WORK that was done was beautiful. But the company is so poorly managed it is my estimation that no one should ever do business with them. Make your own decisions.

After getting a second opinion on the leaking sink and slow shower drain, the new plumber was able to quickly identify and flush the construction debris Ute's plumber, The Water Heater Man, had left behind in the shower drain - claiming "we had crumbling old pipes." Then he was able to show us where Ute had cracked the water connection while installing the sink, causing the leak. He was able to fix that as well.

Terrible Experience with Ute Contractor Company and Terrible manager Phillip
I recently hired Ute Contractor Company to handle a series of renovations covered by my homeowners insurance, including two bathroom remodels, a kitchen renovation, and additional drywall work. Unfortunately, my experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare. First and foremost, the project timeline was outrageously extended. What was estimated to be a 3 week job dragged on for over 4 months. This excessive delay caused a great deal of inconvenience and disruption to my daily life. Communication with Ute Contractor Company was consistently abysmal. Their team displayed rudeness and a complete lack of professionalism. It was like pulling teeth to get updates on the progress of the project, leaving me feeling frustrated and in the dark. To add insult to injury, once the work was finally completed, there was no clean-up whatsoever. The aftermath was a mess, with debris, dust, and construction remnants left scattered throughout my home. It was a blatant disregard for basic cleanliness standards. Shockingly, Ute Contractor Company has now audaciously approached me for additional funds, despite the fact that they took egregiously longer than initially agreed upon. This is a clear demonstration of their lack of integrity and a blatant attempt to exploit the situation. I would strongly advise against hiring Ute Contractor Company for any renovation project. Their unprofessionalism, poor communication, disregard for cleanliness, and attempts to squeeze more money out of clients are all red flags. Save yourself the headache and seek out a contractor who values their clients and delivers on their promises.

My insurer recommended UTE and there could not have been a better recommendation. The entire team, Jan in the front office, Phil the estimator, Jeff the project manager, and Rob the technician, were all fantastic. A pleasure to deal with while simultaneously providing a first-class product. Be it disaster repair or desired updating and/or remodeling, UTE has my highest recommendation.

In response to owner - be that as it may, it has taken six months to get the work done. Caused damage to wall, which happens, but was not fixed for 6 months and we had toco to hourly ask for it to get fixed. Put a mildly toilet seat back into bathroom. No returned phone calls and in general lack of communication and work was not done well

Literally the worst company in the world. Terrible work and unresponsive. Had a slow water leak in master bathroom with water spots on kitchen ceiling, ute supposedly fixed the problem, now there is water pouring from kitchen ceiling.

After my kitchen flooded I contacted my insurance company and was promptly put in touch with Ute. I wasn't even off the phone with my insurance company when they contacted me to set up a time to come inspect the damage. Speedy service. They came out the following day and assessed the damage. Their workers are very professional and they even let me know when they were going to be loud because of my little one. Work was completed very fast. Thanks for helping me out!

A Plus Service. Helped locate and repair water damage between the garage and the dining room. Every person who worked with us was outstanding from the top with Ed Mahoney and Steve Frederick to the people in our home for several days, Leonardo, Anthony and Tom.

Second time working with this company. Terrific experience both times.

I did not have them service my.house, but they were extremely helpful. No wonder my company uses them. Ed was very helpful. Good look to their business.

We had a large water leak and the insurance company listed 3 General Contractors to do the repairs. Of the 3 UTE was the most prompt in coming out to give us an estimate. On being awarded the contract they started the work quickly and were unobtrusive, cleaned up well and were polite. They did not need to do all the work originally quoted and reduced the final bill to reflect this They worked with the specialized disciplines to get the job completed. We were very pleased with their work

After having a water issue in my bathroom which spread to the hallway and bedroom I needed repairs to get back to normal. My insurance company gave me a list of contractors to choose from. I am very happy I chose Ute. From start to finish they were professional in every way . From appointment scheduling to promptness of scheduled work they were right on point. All of the employees who did the work were also outstanding. Always on time and flexible working with my schedule. I highly recommend Ute Construction
