Sierra Timber Scape

We really wanted to enjoy this project. Nathan and Chance spent about a month in our front yard last year, building planters and a pond, as well as removing all grass and installing dg. Our first disappointment came when they abandoned the job site for 2 weeks around July 4, but at least they returned to finish up one week after the holiday. While they mentioned taking time off for the holiday, I didn't expect it to be a full two weeks with my front yard torn up and no work being done.
Now that spring is here, the weeds have overtaken the dg, and I am not finding the weed barrier I was promised. Most annoying, however, Is that the irrigation system they installed is needing to be almost completely replaced. We are having a hard time finding appropriate fittings and replacement tubing.
I was excited to support a young business, and was definitely not patient about this project. I did learn that you get what you pay for. They tackled a large job at less money and in a quicker timeframe than most companies would attempt. Hindsight is I may have benefited from being more patient and applying more funds to the project. As much as I wanted to appreciate their hard work, I am left disappointed as my plants are not receiving water since the irrigation system didn't work. I know my partner will fix it, but it is a real drag to start the summer out without the system working after spending a large amount on money on it last year.

Chance and Nathan designed a complete new look for our front yard. Fast response, quick design and project quote was affordable. Also installed new yard sprinkler system and now we are the yard that neighbors come over to say "wow, looks great". As we met Nathan for first time I joked about loving Stonehenge. Yep, he include a small homage to the famous landmark. Can't recommend them enough.

Very prompt and hardworking and at a reasonable price! I was able to call them, and they arrived the next day to make an assessment and give me an estimate. I needed them to trim and weed both my front and backyard and also lay new sod. They were able to get to work quickly and finished the job within a few days. Very happy with the service!

The team from Tahoe Timber & Land Management, Nathan and Chance did a big project in our Round Hill Lake Tahoe home. They responded quickly to our request for bid which is a plus in Lake Tahoe. They gave us a competitive bid for the full landscape project that consisted of grading a 1/3rd acre front yard, put in full landscaping of trees, bushes, flowers, with irrigation , river rock stream, gravel walkway, B. & P's rock around the house and the most amazing paver patio with Fire Pit sitting area and raised elevation paver area with table seating. Their ideas on the paver walkways and steps really made the project stand out. They had excellent ideas that actually greatly improved the original design and added to the beauty of the project. We had 5 trees that also needed to be removed to start the project, while we had a company we have used before to do the trees but couldn't do for 3 weeks, they matched the price and did an exceptional job of safely removing trees 120 -150 feet tall right next to the house. The fire chief for the area came by the house to meet them and told us they did everything right and he was going to refer them to residents that called. Great to see young men with such dedication in their craft, a two man leadership team that are expert Tree removers and the most amazing patio paver installers and landscaping company. You will be very pleased with the completion of the project for you.

I had pavers and a retaining wall built by Tahoe Timber. Really nice people, however, I was disappointed by what I thought I was going to get and what I actually did get. My advice would be to get an extremely detailed quote including exact measurements for Length, width, height. The estimation for materials was off by an additional $8,000. They tried to tell me that I expanded my original expectations which was not true. The work the guys did was nice. It took a month instead of the 2 weeks as promised. I was left with an additional 250 sq feet of pavers in my yard.

I was really stunned to see what Nathan and Chance did for my yard. They were very reliable and fun to work with they had great prices and quick service. I would recommend them to anyone. We really appreciate what you guys did for us!

We had been trying for years to get a handle on our 1/3 acre lot (re: defensible space, pine needles, brush removal). These guys cleaned it up in one day, and hauled away two huge piles of waste. They also trimmed up trees near the house. Highly recommend them.
