So I went in here in the afternoon this place was really friendly .is a family business in Reno it's made to a projector to show me what I would need and I showed them my plans from Zillow.
she was able to tell me around how much it would be it was very helpful great customer service really friendly although I didn't order it now from what I seen they have their stuff together and definitely could help you even on flooring stuff.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Big ED O.Reno, NV04Jan 25, 2023
Worst experience we ever had with any company! Not worth one star! Suggest you DON'T use this company because you will be sorry. Final design was nowhere near what we wanted. Cabinets were an absolute disaster! While the manufacturer, Canyon Creek Cabinets, were largely responsible for the horrible cabinetry, it was extremely difficult to get Kitchen Cabinets of Reno to support us in getting the cabinets fixed (NOTE: The manufacturer would not work with us directly). Took over a year and finally just had to settle. Also, we have since found out their products and services are way overpriced!

Mr O,
Thank you for your review. We take all reviews very seriously. Both good and bad. We are very sorry you had such a bad experience. Unfortunately we can only resolve issues at the manufacturers pace. Sometimes it takes several tries to resolve issues but we ALWAYS resolve them. Unfortunately warranty issues add additional time to a project often extending it for months. I hope you are finally enjoying your kitchen and other areas. - Kevin J.Reno, NV918628Jun 29, 2021
We were just looking for a company that would act as a general contractor of sorts for a small kitchen project. Replace one section of countertop, install one cupboard, and add under cabinet lighting. We wrote the check at the end of October. They said it would take 8 weeks to complete. It is the beginning of July and its not yet finished. You do the math.
So basically they show you various kitchen components (granite, cabinets, etc), you pick what you like, they come and measure, they order the materials, and you pay for them, upfront. They then tell you that the subcontractors will charge you separately and will contact you to arrange for the install. The subcontractors never called. We complained. The cabinet guy came over in December and said he'd be ready in early January. Kitchen Cabinets said the cabinets would be delivered Jan 7th. At the end of January we asked "Where are the cabinets". They were delivered to the wrong job.
Meanwhile the lighting guy came and installed our lights. He did a great job but confessed he was unlicensed after the job was done. Didn't matter. He was the most professional of anyone involved with this project. The cabinets were installed, including a plywood countertop until the granite arrived the following week. But the cabinet doors and drawers were measured incorrectly initially, manufactured the wrong size and had to be reordered. 4-6 more weeks.
They come to do the final specs for the granite in March and discovered we had a bullnose edge to match and not a mitered edge. So the granite spec'd and ordered initially was incorrect. 6-8 weeks for the replacement granite and living with a plywood countertop. The cabinet guys came back to install the correct drawer fronts and guess what? The drawer fronts were again the wrong size even after taking one of our existing to measure correctly. It's now July, the correct drawer fronts arrived nearly a month ago, and "the cabinet guy will be contacting you right away"....So after eight months we're still looking for those damn drawer fronts.
So in retrospect they're just selling you stuff, at retail prices, and I suppose helping you pick it out (we already knew what we wanted), but you have to work with the contractors to actually get what they sell you installed. Wait, isn't that what Lowe's or Home Depot does too?Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Danielle D.Reno, NV044Sep 28, 2021
After getting bids from the big home improvement stores and then having them flake out, I tried my luck with KCR. Rachel confirmed an appointment and was here in just a couple of days and told me for the amount I was quoted by the popular chain she could give me my dream kitchen. She helped me envision an entirely new space and went to work planning the design. I gave her my budget and she worked every option to keep me on target.
The cabinet install team was beyond amazing. Confirmed their work date in advance, were here exactly on time and completed the installation in just a day.
Due to high demand, we had to wait 8 weeks for the countertop and backsplash to be completed - but the result is perfect and a testament to the skill of the crew at Stone Creations.
Rachel handled all the project management - scheduled the suppliers and installation, procured materials, managed my budget, and kept me excited as the plan took shape. I could not have done it on my own. I could not have done it without Rachel.
I've since recommended Rachel to my best friends who now also have a brand-new beautiful kitchen. I'd recommend her again and again.
Thank you for completing my forever home Rachel and Kitchen Cabinets Reno!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - J H.Reno, NV0569Sep 20, 2018
When I first contacted Besty, I was in the beginning stages and completely lost on how to begin the remodel process.
She helped get us started, helpful with designing layout ideas. She showed us cabinet styles and options that fit our budget.
While our remodel was not a large project she was dedicated to answering our questions and concerns.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Trip D.Reno, NV07Mar 8, 2021
April 5, 2021 Update - Wanted to give an update on what has transpired since my post. NOTHING. We are now dealing with the Cabinet maker directly and are still awaiting warranty items from our remodel. We are now in month 6 and have once again, left messages with Kitchen Cabinets and the owner, Sandy. Have called, sent emails, and absolutely no response whatsoever. I am now filing in small claims court to see what we can recover. If there is anyone else out there in the same situation with this company, please reach out and we can file together. I do not want others to have this same experience with this company. Avoid at all costs!
We wanted to go with local businesses for our kitchen and bathroom remodel. Going with this company was a huge mistake. We started this process with Kitchen Cabinets Reno in August. Today is March 8 and we are still waiting for several replacement items that are holding up other remodeling in our kitchen. Communication is extremely poor. Service is horrible. Had to go directly to the cabinet manufacture to get any communication on shipment dates or status updates. Sandy, the owner, has been less then helpful and does not respond to calls or emails. We must now take her to small claims court to recoup some of our costs. Do not recommend this place!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Fred J O.Minden, NV02Jan 22, 2021
We bought a house that came with Kitchen Craft Cabinets. Over time, they needed a little touch up from normal wear by the sinks. On the Kitchen Craft website they list dealers where touch up kits can be ordered and purchased.
I called the day before making the trip to Reno and the lady said to bring a drawer or other piece to match the color.
The wearied the following day with a drawer front, the (assumed) owner asked where we purchased the cabinets. We stated that they came with the house and we don't know.
She doesn't serve non-customers, she would not order the touch up kit.
With this attitude, if you need cabinets, I would look elsewhere. Who knows, you might find a store that wants and appreciates your business.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lesley V.Reno, NV6307Jan 24, 2020
Andrea McKee was a great help to me when I was trying to decide what type of counters and flooring to install in our house. Her patience, great taste, extensive knowledge and happy attitude made the whole process enjoyable. She is very trustworthy and respected my need to keep the costs down. I highly recommend Andrea and Kitchen Cabinets Reno!

Lesley,
Thank you so much for your kind words. We truly loved working with you and are truly pleased that you are so happy with the care you received. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance to you. - Julie S.Reno, NV443Jan 24, 2019
Not even worth one star! My husband and I were building our own home and went to meet with them regarding our gourmet kitchen. We brought plans, layouts, and pictures of specific features we wanted for the consultation. She did nothing but talk about herself and other jobs she was doing at the time. I wasn't even able to go over much of what I was looking for as she seemed to not really care. We downloaded our plans for her to give us a bid which she said she would have to us in two weeks. Never heard from her again even after following up. It was a complete waste of time and I would not recommend this company whatsoever.

Our experience with Sandy was awesome in every way. My wife and I worked with Sandy to remodel our outdated kitchen and she was 100% responsive and there for us from beginning to end (and even months after the project when we had other design questions).
Sandy helped us design a beautiful AND functional kitchen. Her design and logistical knowledge was very strong and she went above and beyond for us. We couldn't be happier with our kitchen. We shopped around and compared other companies in Reno and found Sandy to be the most economical and professional of everyone we received quotes from. We are so happy we went with Sally and loved working with her.
Thanks so much for our dream kitchen! You are amazing at what you do!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
