Needed my home driveway resealed. It is a small job, about 3500sf. The crew came with equipment that would be used on a commercial parking lot.
They did a thorough prep, application and finish.
I am quite impressed and will use Cruz again.
I have used other companies that I will not go back to due to shoddy work that didn't last.

So, I needed new asphalt driveway, called Cruz Construction, Mound House, NV., from our very first contact (Eldon), to every single person on the work crew, absolutely top notch, knew what was needed and executed! We are in the Cave Rock area; our job was coordinated with our neighbor; it came together seamlessly.

In these days of staffing shortages its refreshing to see a company accomplish a job of this nature, on time, on budget, no excuses! The result is a fantastic new driveway with no drainage issues, I highly recommend them without any hesitation.

Cruz Construction did an amazing job replacing our driveway and changing the slope to make it easier to access our parking area.
On day one, they improved the slope of the driveway, put down a 4" compacted gravel base, installed a channel drain and then excavated an 8'x6'x6' pit next to the driveway for our BMP filtration project.
Day two they put down 4" of compacted asphalt and worked the product to give us a beautiful finish for our new driveway.
They even agreed to deliver 13 yards of gravel to the site for our BMP Project on their return trips from Carson. This saved us both time and money and helped us complete the BMP's to "Keep Tahoe Blue".
I would highly recommend Cruz, they went above and beyond to insure we were satisfied.

Four of my neighbors and I got together to repave our driveways. We got a quote from Cruz Construction last Fall 2020. The finished product looks fantastic! They did all of the driveways in two days. I am really happy with my new smooth driveway!

I have had Cruz Construction do several projects on my home and I have been ecstatic with the process from beginning to end. The finish product has ALWAYS been either exactly what I expected or exceeded my expectations.
The process is so important as well. All the projects starts and ended as stated. The employees of Cruz Construction are so polite and approachable. They are perfectionist and leave the job site so clean. I would have a hard time using anybody else after my experience with Cruz.
I wish they could remodel my kitchen!!!

Make sure your quote and bid spells out in plain English of what is expected when they come out to do the work. We have used this company in the past with no issues.. we thought we would use them again, same job, same place, new driveway.. should have been a no brainer... double what we paid for the same job on a new driveway but we were assured it would be a thicker then normal coat and we would have a smooth driveway.. guess what? That didn't happen.. we got a thin coat and no smoothness on the driveway.. after much discussion with the estimator who came over when I requested the "boss" to come he left with no resolution except to add a layer of asphalt on our driveway.. I said no, it's thick enough and I don't need more height.. I just wanted another layer of seal.. we even offered a few more dollars to get the crew back out.. he said he would talk to the "boss"
I waited until the next morning and called to try to get the issue resolved, the "boss" was rude and made snarky comments about my husband, comments that were not helpful in trying to resolve the issue at hand.. he said he would call back, he never did..
I then received an emailed invoice with no comments on the issue..
A couple of hours later I received another invoice with 100.00 discount for our "inconvenience"
This isn't about money, it's about being charged double with the assurance we were getting a much better job and end result compared to the old job on the old driveway.. we just wanted what they said they could deliver.. they failed
I mailed them a check for the full amount of the original invoice.. I don't want their 100.00 discount, I want contractors who stand behind their work and deliver on their assurances..
I will never recommend this company to anyone again.

Thanks to Cruz Construction I have a perfect driveway entrance which was stress-free for me. Eldon was my estimator and managed the project from beginning to end. My only regret is that I wish I had met this team sooner. Last year I had my driveway redone and due to the implementation of an easement permit to codes that made no sense for a steep driveway, I was left with an impassable driveway and a contentious relationship with the local building department. Eldon understood my situation, managed the conversation with the county, and implemented a product that works for me and the county. I couldn't be happier.

We live in Incline Village NV. and needed some construction work done at the house. I had seen a school being built near the golf course on Hwy 28 and Cruz Construction banners were advertising the new school under construction. I called Cruz and spoke to a lovely lady who was friendly and knowledgeable. She was able to direct me to the next level where yet again another person friendly and willing to listen to my vision for our home project. Shortly after our conversation, the representative from Cruz came to the house to meet regarding our project. We had Cruz install a new asphalt driveway with the required BMP's for runoff. They also did 220 linear feet of retaining wall build from rock one stone at a time. Anyone for a game of Tetris. Cruz has the skilled craftsmen to handle any job large or small. I am completely satisfied with the entire project and highly recommend to all.

I needed front & back paver work done and the other companies I had called took months to call me back to "schedule" start time. I called Cruz Construction and they sent someone out to my house the next day. The day after that they had an estimate for me and the day after I signed it they were at my house and starting the job. The workers were so fast, effective, on-time every single day and they respected my home (never left trash laying around & cleaned up after). It was AMAZING! They finished the job in a week and didn't have any "surprise" costs or anything! I would highly recommend this company for paver work because my yards have been FABULOUSLY TRANSFORMED by them!!

We had Cruz Construction demo and replace our garage floor, driveway and front walkway. Eldon was great to work with and was attentive throughout the project. Crews were professional and finished on time. We are very pleased with the outcome and plan to use Cruz again for other concrete projects.
