Design and preconstruction services for an approximately 100,000 SF injection mold manufacturing facility in Reno, NV. Construction included large clean room manufacturing floor, mechanical interstitial space, three story site cast concrete walls, large overhead cranes, high-speed doors, elevators, epoxy coatings, office/manufacturing finishes and the full suite of MEPF's, including vacuum, compressed air and mechanical venting. Complete interior demolition, electrical/mechanical/seismic upgrades and interiors renovations of a 20,000 Sq Ft. University of Nevada Reno campus building originally constructed in the 1920s. Challenges include maintaining historic finishes while routing infrastructure for completely new building automation, fire alarm, lighting controls, voice/data and normal/emergency power systems. Estimated completion by December 2016.

Construction of a new warehouse, shipping/receiving and office areas consisting of the ground up pre-cast construction of an additional 15,000 Sq Ft., of space and the renovation of the original 15,000 Sq Ft. Work includes the addition of a new emergency power generator to be located on the roof, new motion controlled high-bay lighting, new fire alarm, voice/data, paging/intercom and exterior sight lighting provisions. A ground-up, $5.1M, 2-story, 15,000 square foot + mezzanine mental health clinic and medical office spaces designed to LEED Silver criteria. Exterior elements include profiled metal wall panels punctuated by curtain-wall systems. The interior is of the typical VA MOB motif with smooth wall, tiling, carpet squares, Amtico flooring and Woodworks perforated maple ceiling panels.

64,500 S.F. steel and concrete construction of a 120-bed skilled nursing facility with unique environmental HVAC concerns, patient retention systems, high-end finishes and pseudo-medical construction. Work included nearly 10-acres of site improvements including exercise facilities, healing gardens and walking paths. Total contract value $8.6M.

A 62,600 S.F. four story wood framed structure with high-end finishes and challenging fire rated assemblies. Amenities include a pool, spa, full WIFI business library, kitchen facilities, etc. Total contract $9.5 M.

20,000 S.F. twin escalator tower with attached “skybridge,” warehouse and casino facilities. Challenges included large shoring and retaining wall construction to deal with the limited space on-site, custom air-handling units, traffic control and mitigation for the installation of the skybridge. Total contract $5.4 M.

54,000 S.F. 10 Screen Theater Complex, complete with full digital and 3D capability. CMU and Steel structure with various mechanical complexities as well as 12 acres of site improvements. This work also included the widening of and improvements to South Curry Street with new above and below ground infrastructure upgrades. Total contract(s) value 20.9M.
